How to reset the SumUp Air card reader

Turn your iPad Bluetooth off.

Quit the SumUp POS app on your device. (Double-click on the home button of the iPad and swipe up the POS app to close it)

Make sure your card reader is not charging. Then hold the reader's power button for approximately 3 seconds until it turns off.

Press and hold down the power button again until you see "Release for Reset" on the display and hear a beep. Then release the power button.

Wait for a second beep and then manually reconnect your device.
How to reset your SumUp Solo reader

Turn your iPad Bluetooth off.

Quit the SumUp POS app on your device. (Double-click on the home button of the iPad and swipe up the POS app to close it)

Make sure your card reader is on charge.

Then hold the card reader's power button until it turns off and restarts. (Please ignore the sleep and shutdown pop-up and keep holding the power button)

Once the card reader has turned back on this will be reset. You can now manually reconnect your device.
Ensure your card reader is up to date:
Ensure your Solo is connected to Wi-Fi, then tap the arrow at the top of your Solo's screen.
Choose "Settings" and then "Software update".
Your Solo will scan for available updates for you to install.
