A products report shows you an itemised summary of all products that have sold within a specific period. You have the option to filter by ‘categories’, ‘brands’, ‘suppliers’ and ‘tags’ as well as filtering by ‘registers’ and ‘staff members’. To filter by date simply enter the specified time frame by selecting the dates in the ‘Date range’ bar. To obtain your products summary simply hit ‘Run Report’ at the top of the page.
After you have hit ‘Run Report’ the system will display a products summary of all items sold within the specified time period. As well as ordering you product sales by tags and by category, the system will display sales information on the left-hand side of the page. Such information includes ‘Total before discount’, ‘VAT sales’, ‘Total inc VAT’ etc. (see below).
In addition, a list of all your products will be shown with detailed information including ‘number of sales’, ‘VAT’ and ‘total sales including VAT’. You can search for a specific product by typing for it in the search bar at the top of the data sheet. You can also download the data as a CSV file for you own records. Simply hit ‘CSV’ at the top of the data sheet.
