Troubleshooting a non-responsive iPad
To wake the iPad, please press the home button. If nothing happens, please hold the power button on the top right of the iPad and ensure the charger is connected. Please check that the switch is turned on and everything is plugged in. Please note an iPad can take a little while to get enough charge to turn on.
The iPad may become unresponsive or behave oddly due to excess use or too many programs running simultaneously. If any of these issues arise, please follow these simple steps:
1) Double-tap the home button.
2)When you see all the apps on a smaller scale on the iPad screen, swipe up all of the running programs one by one.
3)When you are sure that there are no programs running, simply click the "Goodtill POS" application located centrally at the bottom of the screen.
