Goodeats – Stripe Express


We have a new and improved Stripe account and settings!

Please watch the video here in full before carrying out the onboarding steps.

We also advise starting the process when you have finished trading for the day so that there is much of a window as possible for the switchover. The verification process is normally instant, but can take up to 24 hours.

 Benefits of the new Stripe Express:

Table Ordering fee (including all debit/credit card fees)

1.9% + 20p (Recommended for ATV is above £15)
2.4% + 14p (Recommend for ATV below £15) is available upon request, please contact ben@thegoodtill.com

Delivery & Collection (including all debit/credit card fees)

2.9% + 20p
VAT is charged on all rates. You will receive a monthly report to enable you to claim back VAT

Payout Days

Money will arrive in your chosen bank account 2-3 business days after transaction. Payouts are made Monday-Friday. Instant Payouts can be requested on an adhoc basis from Stripe for a 1% surcharge.

Dispute Fee

£15 per dispute (which we refund if you win the dispute) less than 0.001% of our transactions have been disputed. We also include Stripe Radar fraud protection within our rates. https://stripe.com/docs/disputes

These are details needed for Stripe Express but some other conditional questions might come up as well.
We strongly recommend having this information handy in advance.

 

  • Company details (for non sole traders)
    • Legal business name
    • Companies House Registration Number
    • Doing Business As
    • Registered Business Address
    • Business Phone number
  • Business website OR App link OR Product description
  • Personal details for the business representative
  • Bank account sort code and account number for payouts

Needed after opening the account:

  • Photo ID
  • Home address verification (utility bill, drivers license etc)
