Press the home button and navigate to the iPad screen settings.
Make sure your WiFi is turned on and connected to the main WiFi router where the printers should be connected too.
Please make sure the printer is turned on, has enough paper and that the data cable is firmly pushed in on both ends.
If all the devices are connected, the iPad will be able to send commands to the printer.
In order to check if the iPad is connected to a printer, open The Good Till app, tap on the printer icon, and select “Printer Status”, it will show all the printers connected to the iPad.
If the printer IP address is not the same as the one set in the back office, please update by going to your back office.
Select the ‘Setup‘ tab on the left-hand side and then click ‘Printers‘ from the drop down menu.
Identify the relevant printer and select ‘Edit‘ by clicking the pencil icon to the right of the printer bar.
Simply type in the new numbers without changing any other format and so that the beginning of the printer’s IP remains TCP:###.###.#.###
Do not forget to click ‘Submit‘ to ensure the changes are saved.
Finally, on the Good Till App click on the logo (top left corner) a couple of times to update the new printer settings and try again.
